We are currently in the permitting phase of the project and expect construction to begin in 2026.

No, the trail park will be completely free of charge.

We would like a connection path to the Harlem Valley Rail Trail and are looking into our options.

We are located just across the way from Wassaic Station, which is the terminus of the Harlem Valley Metro North line and a 2.5-hour ride from Grand Central.

You can help us keep the trails in mint condition by simply using them! The more that people ride and hike the trails, the better shape they will stay in. We will also recruit volunteers to participate in maintenance work days.

Northern Red Oak, LLC is a 501(c)3 charitable organization whose founders love the outdoors and have longstanding ties to the region. Northern Red Oak privately owns the land for the Amenia Trails Project.
